Today, I’m directing a scene from 50/50 that my professor had assigned to me. But first, I have to set up the rehearsal space to fit the location of the scene, and I’m really particular about how I want things to look like on a set, so I had to go all out for this one.
After class, I head to work a closing shift. The subway can either be a blessing or a curse, but you have to take your chances in order to keep up with the pace and get from one place to another. Otherwise, you have to walk your way there.
I work in the women’s department at the Uniqlo 5th Avenue Global Flagship Store, the biggest Uniqlo in the US. Here is a store that promotes extreme cleanliness and world class customer service. I’m only a seasonal part-time associate, so after the holiday season is over, I leave. It’s been lots of fun working here though.
